1968-1976 Junior and Senior Highschool in Bad Gandersheim, graduated with honors
1976-1984 Chemistry at the University of Göttingen
One of the teachers was Professor Hund (not a Hound at all). 
Göttingen is a wonderful old fashion city with many students.
1980 Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Physics
1984 Master's Degree in organic chemistry, with honors
1984-1988 Graduate student in Physical Chemistry, at the Max-Planck-Institut of Biophysical Chemistry
1988 Doctoral Degree in chemistry and physics, "magna cum laude"
1988 Postdoc at the Max-Planck-Institut of Biophysical Chemistry
1988-1990 Researcher at AT&T Bell Laboratories in New Jersey, USA
1990-today R&D manager, Product Developer and Project Manager in the Pigments and Technical Industries Division
at Merck in Darmstadt, Germany. That is 15 miles south of Frankfurt Airport.
